I Have Been Here Before
Four 20x24in satin photographic prints, sea buoys, rope
I Have Been Here Before is an installation that plays with our memory of places that we feel a sense of belonging in. It allows the audience to feel like they have been somewhere like this before, to emerge them in that sense of place that the artist feels a belonging with. The Sea Buoy in front of the prints acts as a motif to transport us into the very landscapes where we can find such things, where we might have once played in the rock pools on the sand bank and counted how many bopping sea buoys we could find in the distance.
